New Executive Director E2E Peer Networking Sessions 

This three-session peer networking opportunity permits new Executive Directors (those who are in their position less than a year) of DANA member organizations to discuss strategies for effectively engaging their boards. Each 90 minute video-conference session will have a different focus around this subject and will be led by DANA CEO, Sheila Bravo. Registration is for participation in all three sessions, creating an opportunity to build relationships with other new Delaware nonprofit Executive Directors.

Session 1: January 18th, 8:00am – 9:30 am 
Board/Executive Director Partnership – The board and executive director share the leadership in moving the nonprofit forward. Gain strategies and insights on clarifying roles, expectations, while navigating the new leader position

Session 2: February 1st, 8:00 am – 9:30 am 
Helping the Board Help You – The nonprofit board of directors is an important asset for new executive directors to tap into for driving the organization forward. In this session participants will gain insights and discuss steps on how to inform and engage the board in supporting their work

Session 3: February 15th 8:00 – 9:30 am 
Leading Change – It is inevitable that as a new executive director, you will be advising the board and staff on changes you believe are important to take – whether it is a shift in strategy or implementation. This session will provide an overview of leading change with a specific focus on gaining board input and endorsement for your recommendations.

$50 for all three sessions, DANA member organization leaders only. Maximum of eight registrants. 8:00 – 9:30 am. Video Conferencing will be via Zoom, an internet-based conference service. DANA will send an invitation to registered participants along with instructions on how to sign on. To fully participate, one needs access to a camera either on their screen, laptop, pad or phone.

Contact DANA for a $5.00 discount per attendee if registering 3 or more attendees from your organization. (Members only)

NOTE: In order to have a meaningful experience, a minimum of 3 attendees must be registered for the event to proceed.

DANA Cancellation & Refund Policy

Workshop registrations will not be confirmed until registration is complete and paid in full.

Cancellations must be at least 7 days prior to the scheduled workshop date to receive a full refund. No shows and cancellations within 7 days of the workshop will not receive a refund of their registration cost. To cancel or reschedule, please submit an email to Louise Koonce at lkoonce@delawarenonprofit.org.

Cancellation by DANA

Dana may cancel workshops due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Registrants will be offered the option to reschedule to a future workshop or to receive a full refund.

DANA is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the registrant is a workshop is cancelled.
