Join Delaware’s nonprofit sector, advocates, and community members for the Save Our Services Rally, a powerful gathering to raise our collective voice against proposed funding cuts that threaten critical services across the state. Nonprofits are the backbone of community well-being—providing food, shelter, healthcare, education, arts, and more. Yet, proposed reductions in Grant-in-Aid funding and federal support put these vital services in jeopardy.

What to Expect: 

  • Opening remarks from nonprofit leaders, including DANA President & CEO Sheila Bravo 
  • Personal testimonials from individuals impacted by nonprofit programs 
  • Speeches highlighting the wide-ranging effects of funding cuts—from senior centers and food banks and mental health support. 
  • Legislative updates and insights from our elected officials 
  • Call to action with tools to engage your lawmakers Legislative Hall visits to deliver our message directly to legislators 

This is your moment to stand in solidarity, to show the human impact of budget decisions, and to call on lawmakers to preserve funding for the services Delawareans rely on every day. 

Let’s make it clear: Delaware cannot afford to lose these services. Bring signs, wear your organizational gear, and be ready to rally for our communities.

Time

Please arrive on the East Steps of Legislative Hall a few minutes early as we will start promptly at 10:30 am and conclude the rally portion of the day at 11:45am. Legislative visits can be scheduled after noon until 2:00pm.

Legislative Hall East Steps

We will be on the East Steps of Legislative Hall, on the side of the building where the statue is located.
