Shared Leadership Leads to Shared Success

Now in its 8^th year, this signature leadership program is designed to strengthen the partnership of the Board Chair and Executive Director to successfully lead the Board and organization into the future. Ideal for incoming Board leadership, or new Executive Directors, this multi-part series explores what it takes to engage and mobilize the Board and staff to successfully lean into changing and uncertain times. Specifically, this program will explore the following topics:

Building a Thriving ED/Board Chair Partnership
Developing Your Most Valuable Asset – the Board
Driving Values with Vision
Creating a Culture of Authentic Board Engagement
Strategies for Leading Change Together
Future-Proofing Your Leadership

Program Elements:

Full-day in-person session on August 28th
Two 90-minute virtual sessions September 12 and September 30th via Zoom from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
One personalized follow up session with each organization in October
Handouts and thought-provoking articles to take back to the organization and Board for further exploration
Six Month check-in on progress towards goals
