Now in its ninth year, DANA’s signature leadership program is designed to strengthen the partnership of the board chair and CEO (or executive director) to successfully lead the board and organization into the future. Ideal for incoming board leadership or new executive directors/CEOs, this multi-part series explores what it takes to engage and mobilize the board and staff to successfully lean into changing and uncertain times.
- Specifically, this program will explore the following topics:
- Building a thriving executive director/board chair partnership.
- Developing your most valuable asset – the board.
- Driving values with vision.
- Creating a culture of authentic board engagement.
- Crafting strategies for leading change together.
- Future-proofing your leadership.
Program elements:
- Full-day in-person session in New Castle County on August 14.
- Two two-hour virtual sessions on September 4 and September 25.
- Individual team session with a DANA facilitator.
- Tools, templates, and thought-provoking reads to bring back to the organization and board.
Participants register as a Board Chair/CEO leadership team.
