Schiavoni, APR, MS Michele is Director of Marketing & External Relations for Delaware Prosperity Partnership. Michele has extensive experience in healthcare, higher education, foundations and human service organizations. Key areas of expertise include governance, strategy, marketing, communications, all aspects of fundraising, brand management, change management, and employee communications. Michele led several transformational comprehensive capital campaigns raising more than $150 million. She earned her Master of Science in Communications from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America. She has presented nationally on various fundraising topics and on brand strategy. Her work on Using Brand Management to Advance Fundraising Goals received the AHP (Association of Healthcare Philanthropy Journal) Professional Paper Competition. Michele’s volunteer board experience includes serving as the president of the Tilton Society, a Board member of United Way Delaware, and the Brandywine Chapter of AFP. She is immediate past chair of the board for the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement; and former president of the Delaware Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America as well as president of the Delaware Chapter of The American Marketing Association.
