Vickie joined Cover & Rossiter in 1997 and has established a reputation for her excellent attention to detail\, strong project management skills and dedicated relationships with her clients.With over 24 years of experience in public accounting\, Vickie has assisted many of the firm's clients with the adoption of new accounting and reporting standards\, compliance with revised IRS requirements\, and consultation regarding governance policies and "best practices".Vickie is a Board member of the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA) and currently serves as the Board Treasurer and Finance Committee member of Development and Research Innovations\, Inc. (DRI)\, a local nonprofit organization that seeks to provide proactive intervention for at-risk children and communities in Delaware and world-wide. DRI has partnered with Trauma Healing and Reconciliation Services (THARS)\, a nonprofit organization based in the war-torn African nation of Burundi. Having grown up in Burundi\, the people there have a special place in her heart. Vickie and a team of volunteers have made several trips to the area to assist in the healing process for children and traumatized communities in that area. She has authored various articles that were published in the "Get Involved" section of the Wilmington News Journal.Vickie earned a Bachelor's degree from Friends University in 1989 and attended the University of Delaware in 1995-1996 for further studies in accounting. Vickie received her CPA certificate from Delaware in 1997. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants.
