Join the Hockessin Book Shelf in Hockessin, Delaware on Saturday, January 20th from 4-6 PM for a Meet & Greet with Delaware Institute for the Arts in Education (DiAE). Learn more about DiAE's Delaware Wolf Trap (DWT) Program and meet the Teaching Artists. Each quarter the Hockessin Bookshelf purchases a set of NEW books for their "Little Book Shelf" program. Books are donated to various organizations and causes in the area. DiAE's DWT program places professional actors, musicians and dancers, who are trained Teaching Artists, in classroom residencies to engage preschool children with arts activities that promote literacy and STEM development. The program also trains early childhood educators to integrate performing arts techniques into their curriculum. DiAE's teaching artists use various materials and books to develop the activities used in these programs for DWT. Come support the arts in education!
