Kent-Sussex Industries (KSI) is seeking Full-Time Direct Support Professionals who are committed to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities through teaching, mentoring, coaching, and community engagement.

This is not just a job — it’s a calling.

Position Details

Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
No nights. No weekends. No holidays.
Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour 
Reports directly to the Case Manager.

Your Impact as a DSP

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

  • Teach life and social skills in engaging and supportive ways

  • Lead community outings to parks, museums, and volunteer sites

We’re Looking for Professionals Who Bring:

  • A positive attitude and team mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership confidence in teaching or mentoring small groups

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year working with individuals with disabilities (preferred)
  • Experience in mentoring, education, or support roles (preferred)

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Typing minimum 30 words per minute

Training:
All required certifications are provided by KSI.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid Driver’s License (or ability to obtain one)
  • No more than two moving violations at time of hire
  • Ability to pass Criminal Background, Adult & Child Abuse Registry, Sex Offender checks, and drug screening
