KSI is looking for dependable, caring Full-Time Drivers who want more than just a job — they want work that is rewarding and meaningful.

Our Drivers transport adults with disabilities, helping them connect to their jobs, community activities, and daily opportunities. You’re not just driving — you’re supporting independence and making a real impact in someone’s life every single day.

We have an immediate need to fill these positions.

 Position Details

  • Reports To: Transportation Manager
  • Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour
  • Schedule: Split shift
  • Hours: 32–40 hours per week (based on assigned shift and agency needs)

Drivers transport participants to and from the KSI facility at the beginning and end of the scheduled day — leaving your mid-afternoons free for personal time, appointments, or relaxation.

What You’ll Do

Your primary responsibility is to safely transport participants in a professional, efficient, and caring manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operating KSI vehicles
  • Assisting participants entering and exiting vehicles
  • Securing seatbelts, walkers, and wheelchairs before each trip
  • Observing and reporting any health, safety, or behavioral concerns
  • Completing transportation logs and required documentation
  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
  • Performing weekly maintenance checks and reporting concerns

This role requires attentiveness, compassion, and a strong commitment to safety.

Physical Requirements

Drivers must be able to:

  • Assist participants entering/exiting vehicles
  • Provide assistance during emergencies or accidents
  • Stand, sit, or walk for up to 4 hours before breaks
  • Perform CPR/AED, First Aid, and Ukeru techniques (training provided in-house)
  • Bend, kneel, and twist to secure and assist participants safely

 Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license
  • No more than two moving violations and no major violations at time of hire
  • Ability to pass in-house road test
  • Ability to pass Criminal Background Check, Adult & Child Abuse Registry Check, Sex Offender Registry Check, and Drug & Alcohol Screening
  • Basic computer skills
