Patrick J. Patterson, MSW, MPH is President of Global Partners for Fathers and Families Consulting, LLC, a firm that specializes in growing the capacity and funding for government, private foundations and agencies, including schools, non-profit, community, and faith-based organizations.
As a fund development expert, Patrick has written and led grant writing efforts that have successfully resulted in more than $70 Million in grant awards from Federal, State, and Private Foundation funding sources, including multi-million-dollar Federal grant awards during the White House administrations of President George W. Bush, President Barack Obama and President Donald J. Trump.
As a trainer, Patrick has effectively delivered more than 700 grant writing, fatherhood and parent engagement trainings, consultations, keynotes & workshops with schools, Head Start, public/private agencies in 43 states, 5 countries, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas, USVI.
Patrick, a native of Columbia, South Carolina, earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Benedict College (Columbia, SC) and dual master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Health from the University of South Carolina. He also completed grant writing training at Duke University in Durham, NC.
