What is Design Thinking?

Design thinking is a solutions-based, innovative process used to address challenges. Design thinking is rooted in empathy and driven by ongoing feedback, reflection and iteration. The design thinking process requires that participants immerse themselves in the experience of those who are impacted by a particular challenge. Participants seek to identify the origin of that challenge, look at the challenge in new ways, and brainstorm creative ways to approach it - constantly making adjustments based on feedback loops and lessons learned.
