Last month, Delaware reached its goal of 70% Delawareans having received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine—and this number continues to grow. Although this was a major milestone, there is still much work to do and questions to answer:
• What does data say about the effectiveness of the vaccine—especially with the increasing prevalence of variants?
• Will booster shots be needed and can they be combined with another type of vaccine? Will boosters have to be brand specific?
• Should employers take the lead on managing further vaccination efforts like many do for the seasonal flu?
