We all know that donors want to understand how their gift makes a difference in the community. More than ever, nonprofits are being asked to communicate the impact results of their programs and services. DANA in partnership with the Public Health Management Corporation have created a suite of resources to help Delaware nonprofits understand how to and ways to improve their outcome evaluation techniques. Resources include short “how to” videos, tip sheets, and self-assessment tools on evaluation processes. These resources are designed to help nonprofit leaders and staff understand the fundamentals of evaluating outcomes in a consistent and efficient manner.

This webinar will explain each resource, why it was created and answer questions about outcome evaluation. Sheila Bravo, DANA CEO, Allison Magagnosc, and Kelly Feighan will provide the overview and answer questions. The resources will be available on the DANA website a week in advance of the webinar.

About the Speakers:

Allison Magagnosc

Allison has served as both an internal and external evaluator for education and public health initiatives. In her current role, she develops and maintains data collection procedures, trains staff, and ensures data quality for contract oversight and evaluation. Allison also conducted research and evaluation of pre-service and in-service teacher professional development, and early childhood teacher initiatives. She earned her Master’s Degree in Statistics, Measurement, Assessment and Research Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Gettysburg College.

Kelly Feighan

Kelly brings 25 years of experience as an evaluator for clients in the public and private sector who seek to better understand their impact. As director of the Division of Teaching and Learning within the Public Health Management Corporation’s R&E Group, she designs and implements evaluations aimed at producing reliable, rigorous, and actionable results for clients, funders, and the surrounding community. Kelly earned her Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland-College Park and PhD from Temple University in the same field. Her professional goal in life is to use social science for “good” and not for “evil.”
