Wherever you turn, AI has become an increasingly prevalent part of our daily lives. The technology can seem confusing or intimidating, but it can also create new opportunities for your nonprofit to work more efficiently and strengthen its impact. The DANA Nonprofit AI Bootcamp will demystify AI and lead participants through a journey toward becoming proficient with AI and learning how to implement it within your organization.
Made possible with support from the OpenAI Foundation, this multi-part virtual bootcamp will span nine months, beginning with a series of weekly workshops and 12 weeks of 1:1 consulting with Tech Impact. Participants will then receive five months of ongoing office hours support as they apply what they have learned and move toward implementation.
DANA staff and Tech Impact consultants will guide participants through a hands-on curriculum designed to build confidence using AI in a nonprofit setting. Through group learning, individualized support, and practical application, participants will have opportunities to explore how AI can be used responsibly and effectively within their organizations.
By the end of this bootcamp, participants will:
- Increase practical knowledge of OpenAI's AI tools, policy and governance considerations for implementing AI.
- Create a pilot AI implementation project developed in collaboration with a Tech Impact AI consultant.
- Identify and prioritize a viable AI opportunity within their organization and develop a business case that considers return on investment.
