About the Presenter: Jan White

Jan S. White is President of Meetings by Design, a Delaware-based business meeting and special events company founded in 1992. For more than 25 years, Meetings by Design has had the honor of producing a variety of events such as the DuPont Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Celebration, Governor Markell and Governor Carney’s Inaugural Balls and the 375th Jubilee Gala of Delaware.

Before founding Meetings by Design, Jan was employed by DuPont as a Meeting Producer in the design and execution of corporate Product Launches, Excellence Award events, and Town Meetings. Prior to joining DuPont in 1989, she was the Technical Director for a National Touring Company, and held various technical roles at a large regional Dinner Theatre.

Jan received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Delaware with a minor in Technical Theatre. She is happily married to her dearest friend and business partner, Michael, and is proudly called Mom by their son Ethan. When not producing events, Jan enjoys theatre, hiking, martial arts, travel and American Revolution Re-enacting.
