The General Assembly is currently in recess as the Joint Finance Committee conducts several weeks of budget hearings, but there will still be plenty to discuss. Among the many pending bills awaiting the consideration of lawmakers is a measure that would legalize physician-assisted suicide and add an equal rights provision to the state constitution. The "Coffee with Dave" meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at Jimmy's Grille in Bridgeville starting at 7:30 a.m. The casual gatherings give residents of the 35th District a regular opportunity to meet with their state representative to discuss whatever is on their minds.
