A Peace Week Delaware (www.peaceweekdelaware.org) offering! This presentation looks at the unique challenges that LGBTQ+ youth face due to their sexuality/gender that puts additional stress on them that gives them an increased risk for mental health challenges, as well as protective factors that have been shown to help ease that stress. While originally created to be shown to GSA (Gay Straight Alliances/Gender Sexuality Alliances) school clubs, we also welcome adults who work with youth, parents/guardians, and similar to come to this presentation.
