Event Details
Last month, Delaware reached its goal of 70% Delawareans having received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine—and this number continues to grow. Although this was a major milestone, there is still much work to do and questions to answer: • What does data say about the effectiveness of the vaccine—especially with the increasing prevalence of variants? • Will booster shots be needed and can they be combined with another type of vaccine? Will boosters have to be brand specific? • Should employers take the lead on managing further vaccination efforts like many do for the seasonal flu? To address these questions and provide an update on Delaware’s progress in combatting the virus, DSCC’s Mike Quaranta will be joined by: Dr. Michael Ybarra (bio), Vice President of Medical Affairs & Strategic Alliances at PhRMA & emergency medical physician Marci Drees, M.D., MS, FACP, FSHEA (bio), Infection Prevention Officer and Hospital Epidemiologist, ChristianaCare Joseph Spinelli (bio), Senior Vice President of Product and Strategy for AccessDX Laboratory
